Finnmarksløpet 2013

Pictures taken during Europa’s longest dog sledge race – Finnmarksløpet (Finnmark, Norway), in 2013.

Temperatures reach -35*C, participants doesn’t sleep for a week, they lose up to 12kg of body weight, and are not allowed any help with the dogs from they’re team members.  They travel 1000 km through frozen Norwegian Arctic totally dependent on the animals, experiencing both magnificent nature and hallucinations caused by extreme fatigue.
